Iranian President Ready to End the War with Guarantees

Khaberni - After US President, Donald Trump, suggested that the war with Iran might end soon, the Iranian response came.

"Guarantees"
The Iranian President Masoud Bzshkyan announced his country's readiness to end the 32-days ongoing war, but he conditioned it on the presence of guarantees.

Bzshkyan believes that Washington does not believe in diplomacy, noting that it attacked Iran twice during negotiations, referring to the war last June.

Bzshkyan's comments came after new statements by Trump who said today, Tuesday, to the "New York Post": "I think the war with Iran will end soon. He added that other countries can reopen the Strait of Hormuz by themselves".

He also confirmed that his country has completely destroyed the Iranian capabilities. However, he noted that "there is more work to be done to stop the Iranian attacks".

Furthermore, he added: "My only mission was to ensure that Tehran does not possess a nuclear weapon, and when we leave, the Strait of Hormuz will automatically open".

He also mentioned in a statement to the "CBS" network previously that his country "will make a decision regarding Tehran's inventory of highly enriched uranium", noting that it is located in deep underground locations, and extracting it is complex and time-consuming.

Similarly, Bzshkyan's statement came hours after remarks by his first deputy, Mohammad Reza Aref, on Tuesday morning, that "His country's enemies are urging it to negotiate on opening the strait", referring to the US administration.

In statements today, Tuesday, he said, "Our armed forces are among the strongest in the world, we have defeated the aggressors, and now they are begging us to negotiate the Strait of Hormuz, but we need to see how far they are willing to make concessions".

He considered that "they need to say the golden phrase that is 'we will no longer attack Iran, and we will recognize all its international rights'".

Aref added, "We will see what happens later", as reported by the "TASS" agency.

15 conditions in exchange for 5
Since February 28, the United States and Israel have launched violent airstrikes on the capital Tehran, which led to the killing of top Iranian leaders, including the former leader, Ali Khamenei.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard launched a wide-ranging counter-operation, launching hundreds of missiles and drones towards Israel in addition to Gulf countries, plus Jordan and Iraq, claiming to have hit American bases and interests.

"The Wall Street Journal": Trump is ready to end the Iran war even if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed

Iranian threats to ships have also paralyzed traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.

It is noted that the Iranian side had proposed through the Pakistani mediator a proposal to the Iranians of 15 conditions to stop the war.

However, Tehran described it as unrealistic and unfair, considering that it includes clauses that are not practical while the mediations are still ongoing between the two parties.
