Khaberni - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, met on Tuesday with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed the aspects of military and defense cooperation between the two friendly countries, and ways to develop and enhance them in various fields, in a way that serves the common interests and strengthens regional and international security and stability.
They also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest, especially in the fields of training, exchange of expertise, counter-terrorism, and building defense capabilities.
Major General Al-Huneiti affirmed the Jordanian Armed Forces' keenness to consolidate cooperation relations with the Polish Armed Forces, to achieve the highest levels of coordination and integration.
For his part, the Polish Minister expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role played by the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II in consolidating security and stability in the region, praising the level of professionalism and efficiency of the Jordanian Armed Forces.
