Khaberni - Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Katz, said that Israel will establish a buffer zone inside southern Lebanon, and will maintain control of the entire area up to the Litani River.
Katz added that the 600,000 inhabitants of southern Lebanon who have been evacuated will not be allowed to return to their homes until the safety of the residents of northern Israel is ensured.
He indicated that all homes in villages near the Lebanese border will be destroyed.
