Khaberni - The Dubai government media office announced that 4 people were injured after a fire broke out in a house due to debris resulting from an aerial interception operation, at a time when the UAE air defenses are still actively countering Iranian rockets and drones.
The media office's statement explained that the fire was caused by "debris resulting from an interception operation", without providing additional details about the condition of the injured or the extent of the damages.
The UAE Ministry of Defense had earlier announced that the air defenses were dealing with rocket attacks and drones coming from Iran, confirming that the sounds heard in various parts of the country were due to the defensive systems engaging with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.
This comes at a time when the United States and Israel have been conducting a large-scale military operation against Iran since February 28, with ongoing exchanges of rocket and drone strikes that have affected several Gulf states.
Washington and Tel Aviv justified the war as a "preemptive strike" due to the alleged nuclear threats, before openly expressing their desire for regime change in Tehran. This attack coincides with several Gulf countries announcing their defense against Iranian attacks with drones and missiles, despite the heavy US military presence in the region.
