Khaberni - The Israeli army continued its attacks inside Iran, announcing the targeting of sensitive military sites, including Iranian air defense systems near the Caspian Sea in the north.
The recent raids targeted multiple military infrastructures, including sites for the production of combat means and drones and their engines, as well as complexes for research and development, headquarters for the Revolutionary Guards, and bases for the Basij in western Iran, using about 400 munitions to strike 170 targets, according to Israeli sources.
Reports also indicate that Israel is providing intelligence support to the United States to enhance the capability of conducting future ground operations, such as opening the Strait of Hormuz or controlling the Iranian energy stockpile on Kharg Island.
On the American side, the United States Central Command "CENTCOM" published a video showing continuous bombing operations in Iran, confirming that the aim of these strikes is to undermine the Iranian regime's ability to demonstrate power outside its borders strategically and with tangible impact.
The command stated that the operations target vital military infrastructures, including missile production facilities and combat means, with the aim of reducing any potential threat that could affect the interests of the United States and its allies in the region.
According to the US military, hundreds of special forces are stationed in the Middle East, including elements from the US Navy SEALs, Rangers, and Marines, as well as paratroopers from the US Army, to provide Washington with multiple military options against Iran.
These developments confirm the continued escalation of the military conflict in the region, with expanded operations by Israel and the United States executing strikes against the Iranian military infrastructure.
US sources confirmed that the American operations aimed to undermine Iranian capabilities, eliminating about 92% of Iranian ballistic missiles and 75% of defense and industrial facilities, while Iran responded by downing an American MQ9 drone in Isfahan Province.
These field developments come in the context of the US-Israeli war on Iran, which has entered its second month, amid discussions on the possibility of entering negotiations to end it without achieving tangible results so far.
