Financial Rights of Jordanian Players
Author: الصحفي مجدي محمد محيلان

Allah, the most exalted said: "And those who are keepers of their trusts and their covenant." Truly, Allah is Most Great. From Surah Al-Muminun, verse 8
Initially, I have no relative, in-law, or even a neighbor who is affiliated with any soccer team to defend them due to what I mentioned before, but it's an expression of anger for all the stars of Jordanian football. How can I not be? After they honored us by reaching the World Cup finals for the first time in the history of Jordanian football in the USA, Mexico, and Canada. And here are the stars of the Al-Hussein / Irbid team _ there is no power but from Allah _ defending the reputation of the Jordanian clubs by reaching advanced stages in the current Asian tournament.
I say: Many players from our teams, especially in the Professional League, have financial entitlements with their teams, whether current or those they were previously part of and have not received yet! Indeed, some of these dues date back many years. Some of them are now playing professionally in foreign Arab and non-Arab teams that respect the terms of their contracts more than their mother clubs! So why do we blame the local player if he seeks to play abroad and accuse him of disloyalty, lack of allegiance, and chasing money?, given our modest league level, have we been fair to our player financially? Why blame him if he looked for an opportunity to play abroad? Then where is the oversight and follow-up from the respected Football Association, and how can it remain silent on such a matter while it sponsors the national team that honored the country by reaching the World Cup finals, and reached the final game, in two major tournaments, the Asian Cup, and the Arab Cup? This national team includes local and overseas professional players, who have old and current financial claims against their clubs.
Moreover, about the players of our other teams in all ranks, they are more in need of their dues because our local player does not earn enough to disregard what he is owed by the clubs he represented.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Give the worker his wages before his sweat dries" (reported by Ibn Majah).
And Allah is the purpose behind the intention.
