Khaberni - The American authorities stated on Monday that a student at a high school in Texas shot his school then killed himself.
The office of the Comal County Sheriff, in a post on social media, stated that the shooting occurred at Hill Country College Preparatory High School in Bulverde, and there were no other injuries.
The teacher was transported to San Antonio Hospital, but the Sheriff's office had no updates on her health condition.
The office said the student (15 years old), died at the scene.
A spokesman for the Sheriff's office told the Associated Press that the student died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
School closure and student relocation
It was added that the school was closed and the students were relocated to a preparatory school to reunite them with their parents.
The high school, which is part of the Comal Independent School District, focuses on theoretical education and skills necessary to prepare students for university, according to the district's website.
The school's curriculum focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, known as "STEM", with elective subjects including cybersecurity and engineering.
