Waving a Champagne Bottle BenGvir Celebrates the Approval of the Execution Law for Prisoners Video

Khaberni  - A scene of celebration by the Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, along with members of his party "Otzma Yehudit" inside the Knesset following the approval of the execution law for prisoners sparked a widespread wave of anger on social media platforms, as he appeared waving a "champagne" bottle and trying to open it, wearing a pin shaped like a hangman's noose.

The Israeli Knesset's general assembly approved, on Monday evening, the execution law for Palestinian prisoners in its second and third readings, with 62 members voting in favor, 48 opposing, and one member abstaining.

The Knesset National Security Committee had approved, last Tuesday, the draft law, which prescribes the death penalty for Palestinians, before it was finally ratified by the general assembly.

In his first comment, Ben-Gvir wrote on the platform "X": "We made history; from now on every mother in the West Bank will know that if her son goes out to kill someone, his fate will be hanging," adding: "We are not afraid and we will not give up."
