Khaberni - The Israeli Knesset approved the law for executing Palestinian prisoners this evening (Monday), in cooperation with some opposition circles with the ruling coalition.
62 members voted in favor of the law, while 48 voted against it, and one member abstained from voting.
The Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the leader of the opposition party “Yisrael Beiteinu,” Avigdor Lieberman, voted in favor of the law, while deputies from the “United Torah Judaism” party, which is part of the coalition, voted against it.
The two Arab MKs from the Druze community, Akram Hasson and Afif Abad, also voted in favor of the law, while MK Hamad Ammar, a Druze Arab member from the “Yisrael Beiteinu” party, did not participate.
