Khaberni - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, stated on Monday that the visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Saudi Arabia and his meeting with His Highness the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, reflect the extent and importance of enhancing coordination and joint Arab action to face the imminent dangers in the region.
Al-Qadi added in a press statement that the meeting, which was followed by a trilateral summit with the Emir of Qatar, comes to reinforce a firm Jordanian position that the security of Jordan and the Gulf is indivisible, and that any threat to an Arab state constitutes a direct threat to the entire Arab national security.
Al-Qadi mentioned that the Iranian attacks that targeted Jordan and the Arab Gulf states constitute a violation of state sovereignty and must stop immediately, emphasizing that the Israeli expansionist project, which aims to exploit the war to impose a new reality in Palestinian territories, requires joint action at all levels and building an Arab program to confront those dangers.
Al-Qadi confirmed the support of the House of Representatives for His Majesty King Abdullah II in efforts to restore security and stability in the region, to uphold the sovereignty of Arab states, and to enhance joint Arab action, confirming full support behind the brave men of the army and security forces in whatever steps they take to maintain our security and stability and to defend our sovereignty.
