Khaberni - The Iraqi Embassy in Amman announced on Monday new facilitations for its citizens wishing to return to Iraq from various countries around the world.
The embassy explained on its Facebook page that Iraqis can travel on Royal Jordanian Airlines to Amman (Queen Alia International Airport) and then directly transit to Baghdad via the company's buses, without the need for prior security approvals or a transit visa, provided they travel on the company's official flights.
The embassy clarified that the travel tickets include:
Air transport to Amman.
Land transport from Amman to Baghdad by Royal Jordanian Airlines buses.
Free hotel accommodation if the transit duration exceeds 8 hours as a minimum.
The embassy noted that the service is also available in the reverse direction from Iraq to various destinations around the world, as part of the efforts to provide a safe and smooth passageway for Iraqis stranded abroad and through Jordan.
The embassy invited citizens to book their tickets through the offices of Royal Jordanian Airlines.
