Khaberni - The Egyptian Ministry of Interior arrested a girl who posted a satirical video inside one of the cemeteries in Egypt, after the clip was circulated on social media platforms, including violations of the sanctity of the dead and causing public dismay, while investigations revealed the motives for filming and publishing the video.
The ministry said in an official statement that in the context of uncovering the circumstances of the video circulated on social media, which showed a girl knocking on the door of one of the cemeteries in a mocking manner and violating the sanctity of the dead, her identity was immediately identified and she was arrested.
The investigations clarified that the girl is a student residing in the jurisdiction of Hadaeq El-Qubbah police station, and confessed, during her confrontation, that she filmed the video inside her mother's grandfather's cemeteries, located within the jurisdiction of Ihnasiya police station in Beni Suef, and published it on her social media page aiming to increase viewership and achieve financial gains.
