Khaberni - Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Daifallah Al-Fayez, participated on Monday in the Jordanian - Gulf - Russian joint ministerial meeting through video conferencing technology.
The meeting discussed the repercussions of the brutal Iranian attacks on Jordan and the fellow Gulf Arab states, and the serious developments in the region.
In his remarks during the meeting, Al-Fayez confirmed Jordan's condemnation of the unjustified Iranian attacks on its territory and on the Gulf Arab states, rejecting these attacks as an unjustified escalation and a blatant violation of international law and the sovereignty of states.
Al-Fayez renewed Jordan's full solidarity with the Arab states, and support for any steps taken by the brothers to confront the Iranian attacks and protect their citizens, security, stability, and sovereignty.
Al-Fayez stressed the importance of activating diplomacy as a way to end the escalation, protect regional and international peace and security, and reach a solution that ensures respect for international law and the sovereignty of states.
