5 New Features in Google Chrome Thanks to Artificial Intelligence Get to Know Them

Khaberni  - Users can now access "Gemini" artificial intelligence services directly from within "Chrome" browser without the need to open a new dedicated internet page thanks to the latest browser update released by Google.

"Chrome" has now become one of the famous artificial intelligence browsers that have been launched recently by various companies; like "Atlas" from "OpenAI" (USA), or even "Comet" from "Perplexity" (USA).

Although the features have reached some users around the world, Google is releasing its update gradually, with expectations that it will reach all users within this year according to the company's official American website; so if you haven't found "Gemini" features in your browser yet, it means it hasn’t reached your country according to a report by "CNBC" (USA).

When the update reaches your country, you can benefit from all the artificial intelligence features within the browser, and these are the most important ones:

Searching Across Multiple Windows

It has been customary for users to open more than one window inside "Chrome"; whether they are looking for a new product to buy, or even doing some reading or work that requires moving between multiple sites.

Previously, the user needed to visit each window individually and press the search button to find what they were looking for, or they had to copy all the URLs and add them to one of the artificial intelligence tools to ask it for the information they want.

However, after the recent browser update, you won’t need to do that; all you need to do is press the "Gemini" button that appears at the top of the screen, then ask it what you want, or ask it to search across all the windows you have opened.

"Gemini" will then search all the windows automatically and very quickly and easily to provide you with the answer you are looking for, according to the "Android Authority" technical American website about the new feature.

Automated Browsing

"Google" has added a new feature in "Gemini" to benefit from the browser's capabilities, called automated browsing.

This feature allows the artificial intelligence to search the internet and use the browser instead of the user, including visiting sites and performing several functions inside the browser with ease, according to the "BGR" (BGR) technical American website.

"Google" exemplified this feature through its advertisement by searching for hotels and booking flights that fit the budget and timeline of the trip you planned. This feature places "Gemini" in the era of artificial intelligence agents capable of performing functions manually and automatically.

Generating Images Within the Browser

The user can now rely on "Gemini" within "Google Chrome" to generate images directly using the "Nano Banana 2" model, which is a time-saving feature instead of needing to navigate to the service site.

"Gemini" can also view the images in front of you on internet pages and use them directly in generating "Nano Banana" images, according to "Android Authority" website.

Therefore, you won’t need to download the image then attach it in "Nano Banana" or even put a link to it, and this feature is highly beneficial for content creators.

Support for Connected Apps

"Google" recently introduced a new feature in "Gemini" making it capable of connecting to a range of its apps and benefiting from artificial intelligence features within them, transferring this feature to the Chrome browser.

This feature grants artificial intelligence the ability to use various "Google Drive" and "Gmail" apps, where you can use the feature to edit files you have in front of you whether they are text files or spreadsheets, or even search your email and deal with messages and alerts.

Personal Artificial Intelligence

The "BGR" website reports the existence of an experimental feature that the company is testing in the coming period, a personal artificial intelligence feature.

This feature slightly differs from the features of traditional artificial intelligence agents, and while it possesses the same capabilities, it also remembers the user's personal preferences and private information, thus it can make decisions and perform functions instead of the user without needing to be told the same instructions each time.
