Khaberni - The artist Sherihan criticized the policy of US President Donald Trump, pointing out that his language is conflicting and contradictory, making her concerned about the American people, and confirming that respect between nations is a duty and not an option.
Sherihan wrote on her account on «x»: «Respect between nations is a duty, not an option. I reject what I have seen and am seeing in terms of verbal and physical condescension, gestures, playing with vocal tones and direct and indirect words, and all that includes phrases that are elastic with a thousand meanings, which are supposed to indicate strength and others».
Sherihan also expressed her support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, saying: «Language completely unacceptable to me as a simple Egyptian citizen, I respect and love the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its noble kind beloved and brotherly people, and the truth is that this rejected language is very offensive first to the person speaking, then to the American people secondly, which I don’t believe agrees with most of it, it truly is not befitting. The offense is to them, not us, it is rude and disrespectful language, it does not befit, it's bad and poorly constructed language, very offensive to them, gestures and verbal and bodily language aimed at conveying certain messages with a thousand meanings, for me, it eroded and removed strength and does not indicate self-confidence».
She concluded: «Language that first and foremost does not befit America, secondly the American people, and thirdly the current US President Donald Trump.. and most of it is conflicting and contradictory and has become in some instances, for me, laughable and makes me worried about the American people».
