Khaberni - MP Saleh Al-Armouti saluted the Pope's stance, describing it as courageous and bold, after his call to allow prayers at the Church of the Nativity, considering this a stance to be acknowledged, especially under what he described as global pressure which led to the allowance of prayer.
Al-Armouti called for using this stance to promote the reopening of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in light of what he referred to as Arab and Islamic silence.
In another context, Al-Armouti criticized the loan agreement between the Jordanian government and the Italian government, considering it a submissive agreement that imposes conditions on Jordan in exchange for 50 million euros, despite the possibility of raising this amount through local banks.
He noted that the agreement includes restrictions that allow the Italian government to terminate it, in addition to intervention by the World Bank, as well as conditions related to internal matters.
