Khaberni - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has commenced the implementation of the maintenance project for the main road leading to the entrance of Aqaba city, within the fourth phase of the periodic maintenance program carried out by the ministry annually to improve the efficiency of the road network and enhance traffic safety.
The project includes comprehensive maintenance works for the road over an area estimated at about 11,000 square meters, and a length of 1000 linear meters, as part of a stage plan implemented annually according to pre-allocated funds.
The Aqaba Governorate Public Works Directorate supervises the implementation of the project, while the total cost is about 90,000 dinars, funded by the Aqaba Governorate Council with a work duration of 45 days.
The project aims to enhance the quality of the main road leading to the city, which contributes to facilitating traffic movement, especially given the economic and tourist importance of Aqaba, in addition to improving the level of services provided to road users.
