Courtois Injury Worsens

Khaberni - A news report stated that Belgian Thibaut Courtois, the Real Madrid goalkeeper, might miss the scheduled date for his return to the field in the Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Bayern Munich.

The two teams will meet on April 15th next at the "Allianz Arena" in the second leg match, while the first leg will take place a week earlier at the "Santiago Bernabéu".
ESPN reported that Courtois might miss Real’s encounter again, so the team will rely on Ukrainian backup goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

Lunin played as a starter in the match against Atletico Madrid last Sunday, which Real won 3-2 in the league championship.
Courtois is currently going through a difficult phase after suffering an injury and being substituted at halftime during the Real Madrid match against Manchester City in the round of sixteen second leg.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper suffered a muscle injury in the anterior fibers of his thigh muscle, which led him to be sidelined for ten days, but it seems that the injury has worsened currently amid attempts by Real Madrid's medical staff to handle and treat it.
