Khaberni - In a new chapter of the legal dispute between artist Sherine Abdel Wahab and her former social media manager, the Cairo Economic Misdemeanor Court ruled, fining the accused for commandeering Sherine's official accounts on social media and her YouTube channel, an amount of 50,000 Egyptian pounds, and also mandating him to pay 20,000 Egyptian pounds in civil compensation after proving the charge of profiting unlawfully from those accounts.
The court issued its decision condemning the accused in the incident of taking over the official pages of Sherine Abdel Wahab, which include her accounts on various social media platforms, as well as her YouTube channel, after it found he had gained illicit financial benefits from seizing them.

The incident details go back to the complaints filed by Sherine Abdel Wahab’s lawyer, accusing someone of commandeering his client’s official accounts and managing them without legal permission, which led to authorities opening extensive investigations that concluded with the issuing of the judicial ruling.
The case files revealed that the accused, a former account manager for Sherine Abdel Wahab, had succeeded in taking control of the artist’s accounts across platforms "Facebook", "X", "Instagram", and "TikTok", in addition to seizing her official YouTube channel, exploiting these platforms to achieve financial gains unlawfully.
