Khaberni - The misdemeanor judge at the Cairo Criminal Court ordered the renewal of the detention of the son of the former star of the Egypt national football team, Ahmed Hossam Mido, for 15 days pending investigations into the incident of finding drugs inside his car.
The Public Prosecution directed several accusations against the accused, including possession of narcotics, driving a car without a license, damaging public property, and resisting authorities during the attempt to arrest him.
The security forces in the Cairo Security Directorate arrested the accused along with a girl inside the car, and found in his possession 3 grams of hashish.
The investigations clarified that a security force stopped the car during a nocturnal traffic campaign, leading to the discovery of the narcotics and the detention of the accused and his escort to the police station.
The security forces filed a record of the incident, and informed the Public Prosecution, which took over the investigations and ordered his detention pending the case.
