Khaberni - Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that he had ordered the army to work on "expanding the buffer zone" in southern Lebanon.
Netanyahu said in a recorded statement: "In Lebanon, I have just ordered the army to further expand the existing buffer zone."
He added: "The aim of this is to definitively contain the threat of any attack (launched by Hezbollah fighters) and to prevent the launching of anti-tank missiles at the border."
During a visit to the command of the northern front, Netanyahu clarified that Hezbollah still retains "limited capabilities" to launch rockets at Israel.
He added: "Iran is no longer Iran, Hezbollah is no longer Hezbollah, and Hamas is no longer Hamas."
