Netanyahu We are winning this war Gaza Iran and Lebanon are no longer as they were

Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he has issued his instructions to expand the current buffer zone in southern Lebanon, confirming that Israel is proceeding to radically change the situation on its northern border.

Netanyahu said today, Sunday, in a statement issued by the Northern Command: "I just completed a situation assessment in the Northern Command with the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff, the Commander-in-Chief, and division leaders. I met with brave leaders determined to strike our enemies and remove the danger from our borders."

He added: "We are conducting a multi-front campaign. We are delivering strong strikes against Iran and its proxies, achieving great accomplishments, causing a clear rift in the terrorist regime in Tehran."

Netanyahu considered that "Iran is no longer as it was, Hezbollah is no longer as it was, and Hamas is no longer as it was," adding: "These are no longer terrorist armies threatening our existence, but defeated enemies fighting for survival. Instead of them surprising us, we are the ones surprising them. We are the active party, we are the attacking party, we are the initiating party, and we are infiltrating deep into their territories."

He continued: "I said we would change the face of the Middle East, and we have. But we have also changed our security concept. We are the ones who initiate, we are the ones who attack," pointing to the creation of "three security belts deep inside enemy territory," including southern Syria from Mount Hermon to Yarmouk, and more than half of the Gaza Strip, in addition to southern Lebanon.

He explained that the decision to expand the security belt in southern Lebanon aims to "thwart the invasion threat completely" and keep anti-tank missile fire away from the border."

Despite this, Netanyahu acknowledged that "Hezbollah" still retains residual capabilities to launch rockets towards Israel, noting that discussions with military leaders also addressed ways to eliminate this threat.

In conclusion, Netanyahu addressed the Israelis confirming that his government is determined to "radically change the security reality on its northern borders," saying: "Dear citizens of Israel, I cannot of course share these discussions with you, but I assure you that we are determined to radically change this situation in the north."
