3 AmericanIsraeli Airstrikes Target a Popular Mobilization Forces Site in Nineveh

Khaberni - The Popular Mobilization Authority in Iraq announced on Sunday that the headquarters of the 14th Brigade in Nineveh was subjected to three airstrikes targeting its sites.

A statement from the Authority stated that "sites belonging to the Popular Mobilization Forces in Nineveh province were targeted early today by American-Israeli airstrikes".

The statement added that "the first target included the headquarters of the 14th Brigade within the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, while the second and third strikes targeted one of the headquarters of the fourth battalion belonging to the same brigade in the province".

War broke out with Iran on February 28, 2026, following a massive wave of airstrikes by the United States and Israel that targeted vital and military facilities and command centers in Tehran and several other cities, resulting in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on the first day, along with a number of senior officials and leaders, including the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani and prominent leaders in the Revolutionary Guard.
