Scattered rain showers on Sunday as Jordan is affected by a cold and humid air mass

Khaberni - The kingdom is affected on Sunday by a relatively cold and humid air mass, with the weather being partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with a chance of scattered rain showers, especially in the north and central parts of the kingdom, and moderate to brisk southwesterly winds, especially in the eastern regions.

The weather will be partly cloudy and cold on Sunday night, with the possibility of light rain in the north of the kingdom and moderate northwesterly winds.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in East Amman range between 16-8 degrees Celsius, in West Amman 14-6, in the northern highlands 12-5, in the Shara highlands 13-4, in the desert areas 20-6, in the plains areas 17-8, in the northern Jordan Valley 23-12, in the southern Jordan Valley 26-13, at the Dead Sea 24-14, and at Aqaba Gulf 25-14 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Administration warns in its report of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust raised by the winds, especially in the desert areas, and from sliding on roads experiencing rainfall.

On Monday, the weather remains relatively cold and partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with a possibility of light rain in the north and central parts of the kingdom, and moderate northwesterly winds that sometimes intensify.

At night, the weather becomes cold in most areas and relatively cold in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at different altitudes, and moderate winds that sometimes intensify.

On Tuesday, temperatures will rise, returning to around their seasonal averages, with pleasant weather in most regions and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, and moderate southwesterly winds, and medium to high clouds.

On Wednesday, temperatures rise to around their normal levels for this time of the year, with pleasant temperatures in the mountainous highlands and plains, and warm in the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at different altitudes which gradually increase, especially in the southern parts of the kingdom.
