Poll Annoys Netanyahu Israelis Fail in Iran War

Khaberni - As the joint military operations between Israel and the United States on Iran continue amidst negotiations, a new poll has shown results that annoyed the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Weekly Poll
The results of the polls revealed that a large majority of the public supports continuing the war against both Iran and Lebanon.

The results published by "Channel 12" in Israel show that 60% of Israelis support the continuation of the war against Iran, with the percentage rising to 85% among supporters of the ruling right-wing coalition.

On the other hand, 29% of Israelis believe the war should end now, while 11% answered "I don't know".

Regarding the war on Lebanon, 67% of Israelis support its continuation, while only 22% believe it should end now.

Also, the Chief of Staff of the Army, Eyal Zamir, received a rating of 7.3 out of 10, and the head of Mossad, David Barnea, a rating of 7.1 out of 10, while Netanyahu did not exceed a rating of 5.6 out of 10, his Minister of Defense Israel Katz 5 out of 10, and his Minister of Finance Smotrich 3 out of 10.

About victories, 52% of Israelis said that toppling the Iranian regime would be considered a success, while 49% believed that destroying or confiscating enriched uranium would represent success.

Also, 42% saw a strong strike on Iran's weapons and missile program as a "victory", while 6% believed opening the Strait of Hormuz would represent success, and 10% answered they do not know.

Netanyahu Disturbed and Voices Taken Advantage
However, these results were not satisfactory for the Israeli Prime Minister, as a political source close to Netanyahu clarified that he is very disturbed by these results, as they provide evidence that Israelis are not convinced of the success of the campaign's goals on Iran, nor do they see him successful in leading it, according to Channel 12.

The channel added that Netanyahu has realized that this support means that the public is not convinced by the repeated government statements about achieving major accomplishments in Iran, but even that Israelis give him a negative evaluation of his performance in managing the war.

Naftali Bennett, former Prime Minister and the strongest candidate in the upcoming elections, used these results to attack Netanyahu, saying that he "knows how to start things, but does not know how to finish them".

He also added in several interviews he initiated with the media, that the government has clearly defined the war goals on Iran as: complete dismantling of its nuclear program, dismantling of its ballistic missile system, and dismantling of the terrorism network affiliated with the Iranian axis. If these goals are achieved, that would be excellent, but if they are not achieved, they have changed nothing.

He continued: "Netanyahu does not know how to win, not in Gaza, where he announced victory 10 times, yet there are still 30,000 elite forces of Hamas. They are growing, while we bring in aid trucks".

About Hezbollah, he said: "In the northern front, Hezbollah have managed to restore their strength before we could rebuild Kiryat Shmona. Netanyahu, Katz, and Smotrich claimed that we have set back Hezbollah 30 years, but the northern region is still neglected, while Hezbollah bombards us with hundreds of rockets daily."

He also added: "This is the real Netanyahu: indecisive, and leading a paralyzed government, which has no solutions for anything," he expressed.

Iran Responds
It should be noted that the poll also addressed the state of parties if Knesset elections were held today, indicating that "Likud" led by Benjamin Netanyahu would lose a seat this week, winning 27 seats.

The results come amid unrelenting field developments, as the military operation continues with bombing dozens of targets while Iran and its proxies respond with rockets on Israel and the region.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio hinted yesterday that the war might last between 2 and 4 weeks, despite the growing U.S. military buildup in the region, as approximately 2500 additional elements of Marines, as well as more than 1000 paratroopers from the airborne 82nd division trained for deployment in hostile areas and control of strategic sites and airports are directed to the Middle East.
