Khaberni - The Central Korean News Agency reported on Sunday that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected a training base for special operations forces and attended tests of advanced weapons for close combat on battlefields.
Kim also oversaw trials of a new main battle tank, which the agency quoted him as saying is capable of countering almost all anti-tank weapons.
In a separate context, Kim attended a ground test of a high-thrust missile engine that uses solid fuel and carbon fiber materials, which the agency says has a maximum thrust of 2500 kilonewtons and is part of a five-year plan to modernize the country's strategic offensive capabilities.
