Ministry of Education Registration period for the Tawjihi exam ends on Sunday

Khaberni - The registration period for the general secondary education certificate exam for the year 2026 ends on Sunday evening, according to the Ministry of Education and Education, which confirmed that it will not extend the period of receiving applications after the specified date.

According to the ministry, regular students will receive their participation requests through their schools during the registration period, while private study students, according to the new plan, will obtain their requests by reviewing the educational directorates.

As for students outside the kingdom, they can check with the Jordanian embassies or cultural counselors in their areas of residence.

For students of old plans (born in 2007 and before), who have not completed the success requirements or upgrading, their registration will be electronic through the link (exams.moe.gov.jo), and there is no need to review the directorates of education and education, and fees are paid within the announced registration period through your bills via the app or authorized agents, provided that the non-Jordanian participant reviews the exams section in the directorate of education and education to which he belongs, bringing two recent personal photos matching the personal document size 4×6 after completing the registration and payment processes.

The ministry clarified that regular students and new private study students must bring specified documents to attach to the participation request, which are a copy of the civil status card or a copy of the passport for Jordanians (no need for attestation), or a certified copy of the passport for non-Jordanians, or a certified copy of the identification card for children of Jordanian women, or a copy of the security card for the Syrian participant who does not hold a passport, in addition to two recent personal photos matching the personal document attached in size 4×6 cm.

New private study students must also bring their academic certificates and original documents or a certified copy of them, which allowed them to apply for the general exam, or the latest grade transcript for the general secondary education certificate exam.

The ministry indicated that the participation fees are 20 dinars for a regular student in public schools, and 50 dinars for a regular student in private schools, and for irregular students (private study students), 20 dinars examination participation fee + 10 dinars for each subject consisting of one paper the participant wishes to take, and 5 dinars for each paper the participant wishes to take in the subject consisting of two papers.

The ministry clarified that the textbooks prescribed for the general exam 2026, wherein all participants proceed according to the new plan for the first and second parts of the general exam according to the curricula and schoolbooks prescribed for regular students for the academic year 2025/2026, and participants of the old plan (born in 2007 and before) proceed according to their study curricula for the twelfth grade for the past academic year 2024/2025.
