For the sixteenth consecutive year Zain renews its support for its Paralympic champions

Khaberni - In the framework of its strategy aimed at enhancing the concepts of inclusion and integration and spreading them in society, and its continued commitment to support Jordanian athletes; Zain Jordan renewed its sponsorship of its champions from Paralympic athletes, for the sixteenth consecutive year.

The renewal of support by Zain originates from its belief in the importance of investing in human potentials, supporting inspiring success stories, empowering people with disabilities, and enhancing their presence in various fields, especially the sports sector which highlights capabilities and works towards achieving community integration. This support also reflects Zain's ongoing commitment to enabling athletes with disabilities to continue their sports career and achieve more accomplishments that raise Jordan's name in regional and international forums.

Zain continues to embrace a group of Paralympic sports champions who have achieved remarkable accomplishments on local, regional, and global levels, including the blind runner Suhail Nashash, the table tennis player Fatima Al-Azzam, the shot put champion Jamil Shibli, along with weightlifting champions Mu'ataz Al-Junaidi, Thoraya Al-Hajjaj, Omar Qarada, and Asma Shukri, as well as champion Abdel Karim Al-Khattab who continued to achieve record-breaking gold and silver medals and honorable accomplishments in international championships.

Zain undertakes numerous initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering people with disabilities, as it was among the first telecommunications companies in the region that provided mobile service contracts in accessible formats including sign language, voice translation, and text translation to ensure a better and smoother communication experience, alongside supporting the emergency calls application (114) on smartphones dedicated to the deaf community, which was a result of a partnership between Zain, the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and the Public Security Directorate, to serve tens of thousands of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in the kingdom.

The company also launched the pre-paid line "Al Basmah +" specifically designed for the deaf community, which provides features specifically designed to meet their needs, including video calls and internet packages, within its continuous pursuit to offer more inclusive and accessible digital services to all.
