The Revolutionary Guards put a picture of an Egyptian sheikh on one of its missiles Whats his story Video

Khaberni  - Footage broadcast by Iranian media showed the Iranian Revolutionary Guard placing a picture of an Egyptian preacher on one of its missiles before its launch today, thanking him.

The Revolutionary Guard released footage of the launch of Wave 84 of Operation "True Promise 4" targeting Israeli and American objectives, -according to Tasnim Agency- featuring a person placing a picture of the Egyptian preacher Dr. Sayed Abdel Bary, head of the Religious Affairs sector at the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf, after his controversial prayer in the Eid al-Fitr sermon attended by the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

In the Eid al-Fitr sermon attended by the Egyptian president and state leaders, the Eid preacher in his prayer said: "O Lord, by the right of Fatima and her father and her husband and her sons, and the secret contained within them.. do not make Egypt need anyone contemptible from your creation", a prayer that sparked controversy and was linked by many to Shiite historical sources, before confirming that it is commonly recited in Egyptian circles naturally.

The controversy was further intensified by the current regional developments between Iran, America, Israel, and attacks on the Gulf states.

After the widespread controversy, the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf issued an official statement sternly condemning all forms of Iranian aggression against Arab countries in the Gulf, Iraq, and Jordan, emphatically rejecting any practices that affect the sovereignty of the states.

The ministry in its statement firmly established the constants of the Egyptian stance based on full solidarity with the Arab countries in confronting any aggression that affects their sovereignty, rejecting any attempts to meddle with regional balances.

The ministry particularly emphasized the importance of distancing Islam, and all religions, from political exploitation, rejecting any interpretation of religious texts that serves illegitimate goals or whims, clearly indicating the rejection of the use of religious symbols in political or sectarian conflicts.

Meanwhile, scholars from Al-Azhar and the Ministry of Awqaf affirmed that the prayer is legally permissible and falls within the context of seeking intercession through the Prophet's family, an aspect traditionally embedded in the Sunni Egyptian heritage without any connection to Shiism or extremism, emphasizing that Egypt remains committed to its moderate Sunni identity and affection for the Prophet’s family without deviation.
