Khaberni - US President Donald Trump announced that the United States "completely won the war" against Iran, noting that Tehran handed over 10 oil tankers to Washington, in a notable development in the ongoing conflict.
Trump stated in a live broadcast on "Fox News": "Well, we have already won the war. Militarily, we have completely won the war". He added that Tehran decided to hand over 10 oil tankers to Washington, after previously talking about 8 tankers, indicating that "the gift I mentioned in the past few days was actually eight ships. Then they (the Iranian authorities) added two more... They indeed increased the number to 10. And this proved to me that we are dealing with the right people".
Trump repeated that he ordered a suspension of strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure facilities for 10 days, noting that Tehran requested 7 days, but he gave them 10 days "because they gave me the ships". He added that the Iranian authorities were "very grateful for that".
When asked whether the suspension of strikes included the Bushehr nuclear power station, Trump said: "And they asked, 'Does this include (the Bushehr nuclear power plant)? Because they have, as you know, a nuclear power plant", without giving a definitive answer.
It is worth mentioning that the United States and Israel launched their military operation against Iran on February 28, justifying this with alleged missile and nuclear threats. The strikes resulted in the death of the former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and a number of senior leaders, while Iran continues to retaliate against American and Israeli targets in the region. This announcement comes as the war continues on its twenty-eighth consecutive day.
