Petra University enriches national football teams with four of its students

Khaberni - Four students from Petra University have joined the ranks of the national football teams, to represent Jordan in upcoming international and friendly sports events, in a step that reflects the high sports level of the university's students.
The national Olympic team called up students Abdullah Tanous, Salah Farah, and Omar Khader, to participate in two friendly matches against the teams of Kyrgyzstan and Russia during this month.
The university team's goalkeeper, student Nour Yassin, joined the ranks of the national youth team participating in a training camp in the capital, Amman, in preparation for upcoming tournaments.
The Dean of Student Affairs confirmed that the students' reaching representation in the national teams embodies the success of the university's plans in supporting talents and developing extracurricular activities, illustrating the university's commitment to providing a comprehensive environment that helps students balance academic achievement and sports excellence, through training programs and active participation in tournaments.
Petra University expressed pride in its students who joined the ranks of the national teams, affirming its continued approach to embracing creatives and developing their skills, which contributes to building their characters and enhancing their sense of belonging.
