Khaberni - Hebrew media sources, citing the Israeli army, reported this evening Wednesday that a battalion commander and two other Israeli soldiers were injured due to rocket fire from "Hezbollah" in southern Lebanon.
The Hebrew "Channel 14" explained that "a reservist soldier was seriously injured earlier today due to a rocket launched by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon".
It was also added that "the rocket attack also resulted in injuries to a reservist battalion commander and another reservist soldier".
It was noted that "the three soldiers were transported to the hospital and their families were informed of the latest developments".
The Israeli army announced the continuation of its ground operation in southern Lebanon, aiming to reinforce the defensive situation on the northern border and protect the Israeli settlements adjacent to the border strip.
Earlier, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar stated that "Hezbollah has launched over 3500 rockets, mortars, and drones at Israel during the current war".
Despite the extensive bombing Israel conducts on Lebanon daily, Saar claimed that "these blatant attacks constitute a violation of international law and United Nations Security Council resolutions".
The Lebanese-Israeli front is still witnessing a military escalation, with "Hezbollah" announcing a series of military operations targeting Israeli positions and bases in response to Israeli raids that affected several areas in Lebanon.
