He added that Tehran is negotiating and is "eager to strike a deal", considering the reports that speak of Washington's defeat in the region as "false".
In notable statements, Trump mentioned that Iranian leaders are very eager to make a deal, but they fear being killed either by their own people or by the United States, according to him, adding that "no one wants to be the president in Iran".
Conversely, the Israeli Prime Minister's foreign affairs advisor told "CNN" that he doubts Iran's readiness to negotiate to end the war, considering that "the best way" to achieve Israel's goals is to overthrow the Iranian regime.
