Khaberni - The meteorologists in Arab Weather stated that the highlands of Tafilah and Sharah in southern the kingdom are expected by God's will to have snowfall during the morning hours of Thursday, with expectations of temporary accumulation on the steep mountain peaks in the Sharah mountains.
In detail, it is expected in the morning hours that there will be opportunities for snow showers that may temporarily accumulate on the high peaks of the southern mountainous highlands (Sharah mountains), including the peaks of Ras al-Naqab on the desert road leading to Aqaba governorate, in addition to Jabal Mubarak and surrounding areas such as Eil, Rajif, and Taybeh al-Janoubiyeh from Petra district.
The chances of snowfall extend to the steep highlands of Shobak and Heisha, and the Royal Road connecting Shobak and Wadi Musa, in addition to the high peaks of Qadisiyyah and the Rashadiyah area.
It is possible that these snow showers may cause a reduction in horizontal visibility and lead to slips on elevated mountain roads, especially in the case of temporary accumulations, which necessitates caution while driving in those areas.
