AlSafadi and his Syrian counterpart condemn Iranian attacks on Jordanian territory

Khaberni - Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al-Safadi received a phone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic, Asaad Al-Shaibani.

‏Al-Safadi and Al-Shaibani renewed their condemnation of the unjustified Iranian attacks on the territory of Jordan and the brotherly Gulf Arab states.

‏The ministers discussed the serious escalation in the region, its implications for regional and international security and stability, and the prospects for restoring calm through the activation of diplomacy, ensuring the security and stability of the region and respecting the sovereignty of states.

‏Al-Safadi and Al-Shaibani emphasized the necessity of activating joint Arab action to face shared challenges and protect Arab national security.

‏Al-Safadi condemned the Israeli attack that targeted military infrastructure in southern Syria, blatantly violating Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, breaching international law, and violating the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Syria and Israel.

‏Al-Safadi affirmed Jordan's steadfast position in supporting the Syrian government in its efforts to protect Syria's security, stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and ensure the safety of its citizens.
