Khaberni - The State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan renewed their strongest condemnation of blatant Iranian aggression, which constitutes a flagrant violation of their sovereignty, territorial integrity, international law, international humanitarian law, and the Charter of the United Nations, either directly or through its proxies and the armed factions it supports in the region, particularly the attacks launched by pro-Iranian armed factions from the Republic of Iraq against several countries in the region and their facilities and infrastructure, constituting a breach of international laws and treaties, and a flagrant violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2817 (2026) which explicitly demands that Iran immediately and unconditionally cease any aggression or threat to the neighboring countries, including the use of proxies.
In a joint statement, the associated countries, while valuing their fraternal relations with the Republic of Iraq, call on the Iraqi government to take necessary measures to stop the attacks launched by factions, militias, and armed groups from the territory of the Republic of Iraq towards neighboring countries immediately, in order to preserve fraternal relations and avoid further escalation.
The countries reaffirm their full and inherent right to self-defense against these criminal attacks as stipulated in Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, which guarantees the right to individual and collective self-defense if they are under attack, and their right to take all necessary measures that preserve their sovereignty, security, and stability. They also condemn the activities and actions that undermine the security and stability of the countries in the region planned by pro-Iran sleeper cells and terrorist organizations linked to Hezbollah, and commend their valiant armed forces for confronting these attacks and the vigilance of their security agencies that serve as a robust shield and watchful eye to preserve the safety of homelands and lives, and their sincere and dedicated efforts in arresting these proxy cells and terrorist organizations and uncovering their malicious schemes.
