Khaberni - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, visited on Wednesday the King Faisal II/16 Battalion, one of the units of the King Hussein bin Ali Brigade, and was received by the brigade commander.
Major General Al-Hunaiti listened to a briefing presented by the brigade commander on the operational, training, and logistical proceedings, and the assigned tasks, in addition to the level of combat readiness of the brigade and its units, in line with the goals and directives of the general command.
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff affirmed that combat readiness is a top priority in light of accelerating challenges, emphasizing the necessity to continue the implementation of quality training programs to keep up with field developments and enhance the ability to efficiently and capably handle various threats.
Major General Al-Hunaiti also highlighted the importance of reinforcing principles of military discipline and professionalism, and working with a team spirit, as these are fundamental pillars for the success of operational duties and contribute to enhancing the armed forces' ability to perform their tasks efficiently and under different conditions.
At the end of the visit, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, along with several senior officers of the armed forces, met with the battalion's staff and conveyed to them the greetings and pride of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, praising their advanced level of readiness and professionalism in executing assigned duties and tasks.
