Khaberni - The Lebanese Army Command announced on Wednesday that the rocket that fell in Lebanon is an Iranian "Qadr-110" type, and that it was targeting an objective outside the Lebanese territory.
In a statement, the Lebanese Army Command said, "On the date of 2026/3/24, following the fall of parts of a rocket over a wide geographic range, specialized army units conducted an immediate field survey, collection of parts, and their analysis, and it was concluded that the missile is a guided ballistic type 'Qadr-110', made in Iran, measuring about 16 meters in length and with a range of approximately two thousand kilometers, containing several small missiles."
The army clarified that "the missile exploded at a high altitude, which suggests that its target was outside Lebanese territory, while the reason for its explosion could be a technical failure or an intercept missile."
The Lebanese Army emphasized that "there are no anti-missile platforms within Lebanese territory and that it continues to investigate to uncover the details of the incident."
