Jordanian Vigilance
الكاتب: المهندس زيد إبراهيم نفاع - الامين العام لحزب عزم

We are all Jordanians even though we may differ in opinion, yet we believe in the Jordanian creed.

1) The Hashemite Royal System
 2) Jordanian Identity
3) Jordanian Sovereignty over the territories of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
4) The rule of law
5) Liberties provided by law

When a person is at peace with himself, it is not permissible for any citizen to appoint himself as a guardian over others, or to decide who is patriotic and who is not. As I've often said, Jordanians know each other well — it is actions that evaluate a person, not words, so no one can claim who the Jordanian and the patriot is.
Some have appeared and demanded the revocation of nationalities, and here the matter has reached a peak of danger... Who has the right to revoke someone's nationality?
The traitor to his country (God forbid) is sentenced to death but does not lose his nationality. And here I must say, unfortunately, there is significant blame on us - the current and former officials, and the political parties, in deterring anyone who allows himself to try creating sedition within the general Jordanian society, especially during this sensitive and critical phase that Jordan and the region are experiencing. There is a malicious Israeli plot, vigorously trying to Judaize Jerusalem and displace the Palestinian brothers.

The danger of those trying to impose and generalize their opinions as patriotic, while others are not... This type of division is the most dangerous kind of colonization - mental colonization, and here we must strike hard against anyone trying to impose an extremist opinion that causes a rift within the one Jordanian society, because, God forbid if it happens, it would be the most dangerous and biggest disaster that can happen to us, and unfortunately, this is what some are striving for.
As for those who live in or settle in Jordan before others for a period of time, and based on that what is rightful for them is not for others, I say with all manhood "Jannat Ala Nafsaha Baraqish" (dug her own grave) and on her family as well.

The cohesion and national unity are the secret to the success and strength of the Jordanian state. Also, respecting different opinions and the opinion of others is an essential part of the success of the political modernization system and working with the spirit of true democracy.

Information: - There is a book – I believe it is available at the University of Jordan library, and definitely at the National Library – named «Jordanian Tribes», which lists the names of Jordanian tribes and families, including my tribe whose roots date back to the late 17th - early 18th century and resides in the city of Salt.
And I swear by the honor of God that I will never allow myself, neither to think nor to utter, that I should tell a Jordanian citizen that your nationality should be revoked, even if he acquired the nationality recently.
