Khaberni - Al-Ahliyya Amman University, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, and the Dean of Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Ahmad Samid Abu Arabi Al-Adwan, signed an open access publishing agreement with the global publisher (MDPI), a quality step that enhances the scientific research journey at the university and keeps up with the latest global trends in knowledge dissemination.
The agreement aims to enable researchers at Al-Ahliyya Amman University to publish their scientific research through an open access system, which contributes to the wider dissemination of the university’s scientific output globally without restrictions, and enhances the chances of scientific citations and the academic impact of the published research.
Professor Dr. Ahmad Samid Al-Adwan confirmed that this agreement is part of the university's strategic orientation to support scientific research and improve its quality, noting that providing open access to researchers represents a pivotal step in enhancing innovation and knowledge exchange, and contributes to enhancing the university's ranking on regional and international levels.
He added that this agreement is one of the initiatives undertaken by the Dean of Scientific Research, pointing out that there are future plans and initiatives aimed at supporting researchers and enhancing the research environment at the university, through building effective partnerships with publishing houses and global research institutions.
