College of Engineering crowned champion of the second edition of the Information Bank competition at Amman Arab University

Khaberni  - Stemming from Amman Arab University's commitment to developing the capabilities of its students and enhancing their knowledge culture under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, president of Amman Arab University, the Dean of Student Affairs organized the "Information Bank" competition in its second edition for university students with the participation of all the university's faculties, inaugurated by Professor Dr. Hossam Al-Hamad, Vice-President for Planning and Quality Assurance, representing the university president, in the presence of Dr. Mohammad Bin Tarif, the Dean of Student Affairs, members of the competition's jury, representatives of the academic faculties, and a number of university students.

In this regard, Dr. Al-Hamad emphasized that the "Information Bank" competition represents a pioneering student initiative that provides a type of competitiveness among students and enhances the spirit of knowledge. It aims to invest the energies of youth and empower them to participate in local and international competitions, and also to recognize the potentials possessed by students from various specialties.

For his part, Dr. Bin Tarif welcomed the attendees, expressing his gratitude to the faculties for their cooperation and efforts in organizing the competition, through nominating contestants from various faculties and specialties, affirming the strength of the partnership between the Dean of Student Affairs and the faculties, and their role in developing students' skills and preparing them knowledgeably and skillfully, enhancing their readiness for future requirements.

The competition witnessed competitive and exciting atmosphere among the participating teams, especially between the teams of the College of Engineering and the College of Pharmacy, where the College of Engineering team managed to win the competition, crowning it the champion of the second edition of the "Information Bank" competition, while the College of Pharmacy took the second place, and the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences took the third place amidst an enthusiastic and supportive atmosphere from the audience.

At the end of the competition, Dr. Al-Hamad and Dr. Bin Tarif honored the teams that won the first three places, in addition to the organizers who oversaw the competition from the Dean of Student Affairs, members of the jury committee, and participants from the audience, in recognition of their efforts and contributions to the success of this distinguished event.
