Khaberni - The National Center for Security and Crisis Management calls on citizens to take the utmost caution and vigilance, as the Kingdom is affected by a weather depression in the coming hours, expecting it to continue its impact today and tomorrow.
The Center explained that the weather condition might be accompanied by several hazards, most notably the formation of floods and rising water levels in valleys and low-lying areas, thunderstorms, and heavy rainfall, as well as strong wind speeds and their accompanying gusts.
It mentioned the possibility of decreased horizontal visibility due to heavy rain and fog, especially over highlands, and the risk of slipping on roads experiencing rainfall.
The Center also called for adherence to preventive guidelines, primarily avoiding watercourses, valleys, and water accumulation areas, ensuring the readiness of submersible pumps in garages, basements, and low-lying areas, as well as securing any objects likely to be blown away.
It also emphasized the necessity of following general safety procedures when using various heating devices, to ensure the safety of citizens and minimize potential risks.
