Egyptian to the core the family of Najat AlSaghira sues the nationality rumor promoters

Khaberni - The family of the artist Najat Al-Saghira decided to take legal action against those who spread rumors of her non-Egyptian nationality, responding to recent claims and doubts about her origins and attempts to attribute her to another nationality.

The family of Najat Al-Saghira has appointed a lawyer to take charge of filing lawsuits against everyone who promoted and published false information that affects the artist's identity or questions her national allegiance, in order to preserve her artistic history and her prominent name.

The family stated in a declaration that they will not tolerate these rumors and emphasized taking all necessary legal measures to respond officially through the lawyer Inas El-Sayed’s office, ensuring the protection of the artist’s moral and intellectual rights.

The family ended their statement by affirming the artist Najat Al-Saghira’s full pride in her Egyptian identity, noting that her history and her extended artistic career testify to her genuine belonging and her deep connection with the Egyptian and Arab audiences alike.
This came after news circulated in recent days about the nationality of the artist Najat Al-Saghira, where some claimed she was not Egyptian, while others said she had renounced her Egyptian nationality for another.

On another note, last Tuesday evening, Najat Al-Saghira posted a picture on "Instagram," appearing elegant, calm, and in good health, which caused a significant stir and interaction on social media.

In response to this interaction, the artist later posted a new post a few hours later, thanking her audience.
She said: "Thank you, your words are precious and always make me happy, your love is the most beautiful appreciation of my career, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for every sincere feeling that reached me from you."

Najat Al-Saghira, born in 1938, is one of the most prominent figures of Arab music in the fifties and sixties of the last century, where she sang for some of the most important Arab composers, including Mohamed Abdel Wahab and Zakaria Ahmed, and presented several famous songs such as "Eyes of the Heart," "I Adore the Sea," and "Do not lie."

She also left a mark in the world of cinema through prominent films like "The Black Candles" and "Seven Days in Paradise."
