Israel and Americans grant temporary immunity to Araqchi and Qalibaf

Khaberni - Channel 14 in Hebrew reported on Wednesday, that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf were granted "temporary immunity" by Israel and the United States, during the negotiation period.
According to a report published by journalist Yaakov Bardugo on Channel 14, it was revealed that Araqchi and Qalibaf received temporary immunity from Israel and the United States, considered binding throughout the ongoing negotiations with Tehran, which have so far lasted five days.

According to Bardugo, this comes within the framework of the political and strategic-political discussions regarding the future of the Middle East, where it was revealed on Tuesday evening that "a type of immunity" was granted to these two men by both countries, in a move interpreted as aiming to create a secure and political space for those managing the contacts with the Iranian regime.

The report emphasizes that the information supports what has been rumored in the past two days about the nature of the ongoing negotiations with Tehran and what is said about a new political axis structure forming in the region, adding that this immunity remains valid for at least the duration of the negotiations, without specifying whether it will be extended or restricted under subsequent conditions.
