Khaberni - Israeli media confirmed the death of an Israeli reserve soldier who participated in the Gaza War by drowning in the Jordan River after saving his son from drowning.
The soldier is Uria Sarusi, from the settlement of Har Bracha, who was 48 years old at the time of his death, and a father of eight children.
Media reports indicated that he "volunteered for reserve service to contribute to finding technical solutions to save soldiers' lives."
During a trip in the north, his son entered the water and was in an accident, so Uria jumped into the water to save him and succeeded in saving his son but drowned himself.
