Khaberni - The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization announced that the United States and Israel launched an attack on the area surrounding the Iranian Bushehr nuclear power station on Tuesday evening, according to the Iranian news agency.
The organization added that the attack did not cause any technical damage or result in any deaths or injuries, based on initial reports.
The United States and Israel had previously attacked the Natanz uranium enrichment facility on Saturday, according to the Tasnim Iranian news agency.
The agency added that there were no radiation leaks, and that residents near the site are not in danger.
Late on Saturday, the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, reiterated his call for "restraint" to avoid "any risk of a nuclear incident."
