Khaberni - Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, manager of English football club Manchester City, ignored Spanish team Real Madrid when choosing the best clubs in Europe this season.
Guardiola led Manchester City to victory over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final of the English Football League Cup, securing his first title with City this season, and the 19th in total with the team.
Guardiola, in statements reported by Spanish newspaper "Sport", said: "The Carabao Cup is not the Champions League or the Premier League, but winning against this team makes the trophy special."
The Spanish coach did not want to underplay the value of his fifth English Football League Cup win in 10 years, noting that he defeated Arsenal, which he described as "the best team in Europe".
Guardiola chose the best 3 teams in Europe, saying: "It's Arsenal, along with Bayern Munich, and perhaps Barcelona, the best teams in Europe at the present time."
This comes despite Manchester City's defeat by Real Madrid in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League football, both legs (3-0) and (2-1).
