** We invite everyone to stay away from valleys, stream flows, and low areas.
** Take caution and care while driving due to decreased horizontal visibility and heavy rainfalls.
The Public Security Directorate warned of the expected unstable weather condition tomorrow, with rainfall expected to start from the southern areas, including the city of Aqaba, and later extend to cover various regions of the kingdom, occasionally being heavy, accompanied by thunder and hail, according to the meteorological bulletins issued by competent authorities.
The Directorate has called on citizens to take necessary precautions, follow proper behavior, and necessarily stay away from the edges of valleys, places of water accumulation, and low areas, including those in Aqaba and the Dead Sea areas, and not to risk crossing water gatherings, whether on foot or using vehicles.
It also emphasized the importance of cautious driving on roads that may witness rainfalls, and to take caution and care due to reduced horizontal visibility caused by fog over mountainous elevations, and due to dust in desert areas.
It warned against the intensity of the wind and the strong gusts accompanying it, stressing the necessity of securing flyaway objects.
It also called for safe use of various heating devices, not to refuel them while they are ignited, to extinguish them before sleeping, and the necessity of providing continuous ventilation inside homes, warning against the use of wood stoves which may cause suffocation cases.
The Directorate confirmed the readiness of all its staff to deal with various incidents, urging people to contact the unified emergency number (911) when needed.
