Katz We will control the bridges and the area south of the Litani River in Lebanon

Khaberni - Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz, announced on Tuesday that his forces will control a "security zone" in southern Lebanon extending to the Litani River.

He said during a visit to a military command center in Israel, "All five bridges over the Litani used by Hezbollah to cross terrorists and weapons have been blown up, and the Israeli Defense Forces will control the remaining bridges and the security zone extending to the Litani."

This area extends thirty kilometers from the Israeli border.

Katz added that the displaced residents "will not return to south of the Litani River before ensuring the security of the residents of the north" of Israel.

The war in Iran broke out on February 28, following widespread air strikes by the United States and Israel, targeting vital and military facilities and command centers in Tehran and several other cities, resulting in the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on the first day, along with a number of senior officials and leaders, among them the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, and prominent leaders in the Revolutionary Guards.
