Khaberni - The Traffic Management published statistics on traffic accidents during Ramadan, comparing them to Ramadan in 2025.
The statistics showed a slight increase in the number of traffic accidents, but a significant decrease in the number of deaths and injuries.
Despite a 2.6% increase in accidents, the number of deaths decreased by 52%, from 71 deaths in 2025 to 34 deaths in 2026.
The number of injuries also decreased by 14.2%, from 1102 injuries last year to 946 injuries this year.
